Hope you had a great weekend and happy Father's Day for those who celebrate. It's always bittersweet for me as I lost my father a few years ago and also have 2 wonderful kids and a wife to celebrate with. They took me strawberry picking and playing mini-golf, which was a blast. Any suggestions on what to make with 5 lbs of strawberries?Well, looks like I'll be making strawberry crepes for breakfast! WHAT'S IN A DESCRIPTION?
I spent a few nights this week writing the product description page content for Joyful Co, and I was really stumped. I kept going back and forth between "romance" copy describing the emotional elements of the product and the more tangible elements. Which do I prioritize? How do I showcase them on the page?Then I remembered a conversation I had with Luke Tierney about the lessons that you can learn from each digital platform and had a bit of an aha moment. I reflected on what I learned from launching over a dozen brands on Amazon.The highest-converting product pages identify the top 5 reasons someone will buy the product and then emphasize it as text in the "Key Description" and as infographics in the images. Amazon has figured out that this formula is optimized for purchase, so it's the one I began applying for Joyful Co. Here's what I came up with:- Description of Product- Signature Luxury Box Designed To Be Gifted- 100% Minority And/Or Woman-Owned Products- Spread Joy With Every Box- The Best Products Curated by Our Expert TeamWhat do you think?
