Weekly Update September 20th

Expo East, Go Puff, New Podcast Episode, and More

Hey ,

Expo East is coming up this week. For some it's a welcome return to in-person events and networking. Others are concerned about the spread of Delta Variant and low attendance. Personally, I wasn't planning to attend this year, or do any travel as I'm home with my young daughter.

That said, I'll be interested to hear from those who attend on their experience. So reach out and let me know how it goes!

If you are attending, check out

, which is bound to be a good time.

I've got some great resources for you this week. Check them out:

GET $10K+ BACK FROM THE IRS THROUGH TAX CREDITS

Are you filing for the IRS R&D or Payroll Tax Credit? If not, you should be.

The IRS has tons of tax credits that you're likely missing out on a small business. We've partnered with Leyton to offer this service to the Foodbevy community. They do all the paperwork and you get cash. If they can't help you claim any credits, you pay $0.

As long as you're doing $100,000+ in sales you likely qualify.

CREATE PERSONALIZED CUSTOMER VIDEOS AT SCALE

I'm personally using this great new tool to create individualized welcome videos for my Good Food Brands customers and you should too.

As a brand, it's incredibly important to make your customers feel welcome to your community. When you have just a few customers, it's easy to send a handwritten note or a quick e-mail.

But how do you personally welcome visitors at scale? That's where Maverick's new AI driven technology comes in. They allow you to create videos to personally welcome new customers by name, with no additional work or time.

When a new customer orders from your store, they'll receive an e-mail with a video thanking them for your purchase and welcoming them to your community.
