Birdhill

Hey ,When I need photo content I typically take the super scrappy approach of grabbing my iPhone, setting up a cheap background, and taking a few shots. Now, they're not BAD, but they're not as eye-catching either.That's why I was excited to partner with Josh at Birdhill to take some updated shots for our website and social and WOW, I'm impressed.The goal was to take updated photography for my Good Food Brands website to showcase the amazing products we have available. Below I walk through the exact process of working together and the end results.TLDR: Birdhill is an awesome creative studio and the Foodbevy community can receive 15% off you first photoshoot if you sign up before June 31st.

Birdhill is a content studio that creates photo and video content for CPG brands. Based in Denver, they've built a seamless process that takes the confusion out of content. They offer both monthly retainers and one-time projects that focus on high-performing content for websites, ads, and socials. 

The process of working with Josh and his team was super easy. First, we set project goals and creative direction. I sent over our Good Food Brands style guide as a starting point.

Josh created a mood board so we could align stylistically on the images. I sent over 1 image as an example and he was able to take that and run with the direction.

After the mood board, I sent over a list of 10 specific shots we needed including a new home page header image, collection images, and a few individual product images. Josh created a shot list with exactly what the deliverables would be. This way, we could level set expectations so there wasn't any confusion. I loved this part, as sometimes a project can feel like a black box.

After we agreed on the shot list their team was off to do the creative! It took about 2 weeks to get all the content back and I was really amazed! They provided both wide and square shots for ultimate flexibility.
